Children’s Religious Education
Grades 1-5: Elementary school children attend classes held on Saturday mornings (9am-10:30am) during the school year.
Grades 6-10: Middle and high school students meet one night per week (Tuesdays or Thursdays - 7-8:30pm) during the school year. Preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation are the focus of the program in grades 2, 3 and 10 respectively. Volunteers are most needed in classroom grades 1-9 as teachers and teachers’ aides. In addition, help is needed to assist with the Confirmation program (grade 10), for retreats and nights of reflection. The Religious Education program also relies on parent volunteers for hall monitoring, office help and parking lot supervision.
